Abstract
Theses are devoted to the analysis of the main EU documents on academic integrity policy (Bucharest Declaration, Guidelines for Institutional Codes of Ethics in Higher Education, Paris Communiqué). The general trends in the development of academic honesty,
which are characteristic of universities in Europe, have been determined. General European recommendations on compliance with academic integrity at the national, institutional, and individual levels have been formulated.
