Abstract
At the current stage of education reform, the main direction of professional development of college teaching staff is the post-graduate education system, the main structural elements of which are advanced training and internship. Self-education, methodical work, participation in working groups for the preparation and development of standards and educational and professional programs of vocational pre-university education, regulatory documents, etc. are also defined as effective directions for the development of the professional competence of teachers.
