Abstract
The development of the evaluation system dates back to ancient times, however, the system of evaluation of his students was first proposed by the great educator Ya. A. Komenskyi. At that time, the evaluation system in European countries was verbal (up to 12 types of words for evaluating students in educational institutions), over time, the evaluation system changed from the verbal level of evaluations to a digital one. To this day, a single digital system of student evaluation is used in specialized educational institutions as an indicator of knowledge acquisition during education.
